What do you mean by "crafts"?

Crafts are the decoration and finishing techniques applied to a garment — embroidery, digital printing, screen printing, foil, flock, puff, heat transfer and more. Every print you place must be paired with a craft, and the craft determines price, lead time and the final look.

How is craft pricing calculated?

Accepted Answer

Each craft has a price matrix keyed by print area and order quantity. Larger areas cost more per piece; larger quantity bands cost less per piece. The "from" price on a craft card is the lowest cell of that matrix.

What are the print area sizes?

Accepted Answer

Area presets follow paper sizes: A6 (10.5 × 14.8 cm), A5 (14.8 × 20.1 cm), A4 (21 × 29.7 cm) and A3 (29.7 × 42 cm). Pick the smallest preset that contains your artwork.

What are the quantity bands for crafts?

Craft prices step down across quantity ranges — for example under 100 units, 101–500 units and 500+ units. Your whole order quantity applies to every print in the same request.

Can I use several different crafts on one garment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each print is priced independently by its own craft and area, while all prints share the order quantity. You can mix, for example, embroidery on the chest with a digital print on the back.

How many prints can I put on one side?

Accepted Answer

Up to eight prints per surface (front or back) in both the custom-print and free-customization workbenches.

How do I choose between embroidery and printing?

Accepted Answer

Embroidery adds texture and durability and suits logos and small motifs. Printing reproduces photographic detail and gradients. Each craft page lists production days, batch suitability and style guidance to help you decide.

What is the difference between digital and screen printing?

Digital printing applies ink directly and handles full-colour, detailed artwork at low quantities. Screen printing pushes ink through stencils per colour and becomes more economical at higher quantities with bold, flat-colour designs.

What are foil, flock and puff prints?

Foil adds a metallic gold or silver finish, flock gives a velvety raised texture, and puff print expands when cured for a 3D effect. All are listed with their own pricing and lead times in the craft library.

What are reflective and thermochromic prints?

Reflective prints bounce light back for visibility in low light; thermochromic inks change colour with temperature. Both are specialty finishes with dedicated pricing.

Which file formats do you accept for artwork?

Upload JPEG, PNG or WebP images up to 10 MB. Use PNG with a transparent background for logos and the highest resolution you have; very small files are rejected because they cannot be rendered at production quality.

Do I need vector files?

Not to request a quote. High-resolution raster files work for digital printing. For embroidery and screen printing our team may ask for source files or clean artwork before production; we will advise after reviewing your request.

What is a craft effect preview?

After placing artwork and choosing a craft you can generate an AI render showing your design in that technique. Crafts with an example swatch use it purely as a material reference — the preview never copies the example's graphic.

Is the effect preview required before I can get a quote?

No. Previews are optional for quoting. They are required only if you want to go on to AI try-on or video, which build on the rendered effect.

Is every craft available on every product?

Most products accept every active craft. Some products restrict the list to techniques suited to their fabric; the workbench only shows crafts that are valid for the product you selected.

Does the craft affect production time?

Yes. Each craft lists its production days, and the quote page shows the lead time for the techniques you chose. Specialty finishes generally take longer than standard printing.

What does batch suitability mean on a craft page?

It indicates whether a technique is best for samples, medium runs or mass production, together with a 1–5 rating on properties such as durability. These ratings are guidance only and do not change pricing.

Will the colours match my screen?

We match artwork colours as closely as the technique allows, but fabric, ink and screen calibration all introduce variation. Order a sample first when exact colour matching matters.

How durable are the prints?

Durability depends on the technique and fabric. Embroidery and screen prints are very wash-resistant; digital prints hold up well with cold washing inside out. Craft pages list care guidance where relevant.

Usually yes. Upload a photo of the existing decoration plus the artwork file, describe the technique in the request note, and our team will confirm the closest match in the quote.
